Roof Bonding

The materials normally used for this application are glass-fibre reinforced polyester or aluminium panels. In direct sunshine, temperatures above 80°C can easily occur in such roof materials, and a maximum temperature load of T = 120°C must be allowed for, corresponding to a linear expansio of up to 30 mm. For such bonded joints the use of 1C-PUR adhesives is an absolute must.

Advantages:

  • reduction of low-frequency noise
  • corrosion protection
  • torsional stiffness
  • smooth, flush surfaces
  • no lasting deformation
  • joining of dissimilar materials
